Reading T3 W9

 For this week we had to write a poem, we had different choices. I did a be poem were you have to write a poem saying be nice, be kind and so on. The poem was difficult because it was really hard to think of things to write and to try not to copy your friends ideas. This is what it looked like.

This week in writing we have been writing a poem and you could pick what type of poem you would like to use, I used a haiku but I also rhymed in it as well.

Peace week T3 W3

Hello my blog or peace week we had to draw a piece paper that had a design on it. I had a design of the peace symbol, we had to draw inside of it what makes us feel happy, peaceful and kind.

After we drew in the paper we needed to cut it out and give it to the teachers and they will take a photo, I was running late with the activity so I took the photo myself. After that you need to blog it which I'm doing now.

Happy science T3 W1

 For Science this week we needed to make a google drawing that shows Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin and Endorphins. I put an image in the middle of the drawing about the brain passages

Maths T2 W9

 

For math this week we had to make a map real or not and we needed 4 question just like what the fastest way to get from some place to the other place. I made 4 places, Mountains, Moon, Village and Trees. The goal of this week was Communicate and interpret locations and directions, using compass directions, distances, and grid references.

Reading T2 W3

 For reading this week we read a book and then we wrote down what we knew before reading the book then as were reading we ask questions about the part were reading then we right what we have learnt from the book, the book was called rising sea. Rising sea is about how the sea is rising from the ice melting and how we can help and stop rising seas.

Maths and Coordinates Term 1 Week 7

So this week in maths we  had a my maps and measured between Onawe to Kaipoi and I put the distance between the two which is 101 km, I also put how long it will take to get there through walking and driving. Also in maths this week we learnt about compasses and coordinates, we played math games as in coordinates.
